Growing interest...

There is increasing interest from overseas cricket teams in Irish players - and numerous players have been granted "No Objection Certificates" (NOCs) by Cricket Ireland to particpate in these competitions. Some are for franchise leagues, others for domestic competitions in other nations.

Cricket Ireland also has a scholarship scheme that places young players overseas primarily during the Irish winter.

The following lists who is, or is going, overseas.

Lorcan is playing for Paarl Rocks in the SA20 during the 2024 season during January to February 2024.

Josh Little

Josh is playing for Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in the ILT20 during the 2024 competition from January to February 2024.

Paul Stirling

Paul is playing for Fortune Barishal in the Bangladesh Premier League January to February 2024.

Harry Tector

Paul is playing for Sylhet Strikers in the Bangladesh Premier League January to February 2024.

Curtis Campher

Paul is playing for Chattogram Challengers in the Bangladesh Premier League January to February 2024.

Josh Little

Josh is playing for Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League during the 2024 competition from March to May 2024.
