Independent Non-Executive Director
Cricket Ireland

The Board comprises a Chair, six nominees from four Provincial Unions and five independent directors. All Board members are non-executive and act in a voluntary capacity.

Independent directors are appointed to bring specific additional skills and expertise to the Board and to provide independent judgement and objective challenge on issues of strategy, governance, performance and resources. ‘Independent’ is both defined narrowly – as not holding a position in any of our Provincial Unions – but also defined as not having a material relationship with Cricket Ireland ie. a relationship that might interfere with the exercise of a Director’s independent judgement.

Director People & Culture
Cricket Ireland

As Director of People and Culture, (P&C) you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer as an important member of the Senior Leadership Team and will have overall “hands on” responsibility for the leadership and management of Cricket Ireland’s P&C department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a contemporary P&C strategy while identifying key cultural, structural, and transformational opportunities in line with Cricket Ireland’s Strategic Plan. The Director will provide leadership in ensuring P&C practices are aligned with the organiation’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) including but not limited to recruitment, retention, benefits, onboarding, performance management, compliance, training and development.

Talent Pathway Operations Executive
Cricket Ireland

Cricket Ireland is seeking a Talent Pathway Operations Executive to help ensure the smooth professional running of the Cricket Ireland talent pathway, supporting players and coaches, and the organisation and logistics of competitions both at home and abroad.

This is a position suiting someone hungry to get into sports operations and logistics, and not afraid to roll their sleeves up. The role will provide executive and operational support to the department systems and processes; and help deliver the talent pathway programme through world class logistics and operations.

Supporting the International teams operations department, the role involves both written and oral communication skills, organisational skills and requires excellent IT skills as well as the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and often to tight deadlines. We are seeking an individual who will flourish in a high performing environment and have a positive impact on those around them, and where confidentiality is key.
