MATCH ABANDONED

Persistent rain in the Coleraine area meant there was no chance of play, and the umpires called off the game at 2:25pm.

Sri Lanka win the series 2-0.

Ireland are back in action on September 8, 10 and 12 when they play Scotland at Malahide in three ODI’s.

2.25pm: Bad news – the match has been abandoned. Still raining here in Coleraine and a lot of water on the outfield, they umpires and captains have had a meeting in the middle and shaken hands and that’s it.

Ireland Women: Somerset close on 226-6 off their 50 overs.

Play resumes at 2.10pm, with Joyce and Kavanagh to open the batting – 227 to win off 50 overs.
