ALL OVER! Stuart Poynter’s is the final wicket to fall – absolutely brilliant knock of 109 off 88 balls. Peter Chase played his part with the bat as well with 22 not out in their partnership of 87 runs as Ireland fell 28 runs short.

Ireland Women: Ireland’s second game is underway with Durham providing the opposition this time around. Ireland comprehensively beat Durham by 102 runs in the second game yesterday, and will be hoping for a similar result today.
After 6 overs Durham are 20-1, Louise McCarthy picking up the wicket. That’s two members of the McCarthy family on international duty, with Barry taking on the 12th man duties for Ireland against Sri Lanka A.
Eddie Richardson leads Ireland off after taking 5-61 off his 10 overs as Sri Lanka A finish on 283 all out after 50 overs.
Richardson took two identical wickets off the last two balls of the innings – both caught by McBrine on the deep straight boundary. And that’s also a 5-fer of catches for McBrine!
WICKET! Rambukwella hits Richardson for 6, but the bowler gets his revenge two balls later – caught at short third-man for 18.
