U19s to Guernsey

Ireland Under-19s Men's squad are back in action this week

DUBLIN – The Ireland Men’s Under-19s squad head to Guernsey today for a short that will see the side take on Guernsey Men in a 50-over match and two T20s.

Under-19s Head Coach Pete Johnston said:

“We will be playing on a fine ground at the KGV Oval and the opportunity to play an organised ambitious Senior International side like Guernsey is a great way to kick start the season.  It has been great to work with Rob Thomson from Guernsey Cricket on the series, who we met as a result of our European Cricket Network connection and we are very grateful for the invitation and how Guernsey will be hosting us.  For us it will be great to see many of our U19 players back in action, so that they can build on the success of the World Cup going into the season.”
