Cricket Ireland Backs Data-Driven Growth with Three-Year Shikenso Renewal

Dublin, Ireland / Frankfurt am Main, Germany – Cricket Ireland and Shikenso have extended their partnership for a further three years, giving the national governing body continued access to AI-powered sponsorship measurement across digital channels.

The renewal builds on a relationship that began in 2024, when Shikenso first supported Cricket Ireland’s commercial evaluations. The agreement enables Cricket Ireland to track, quantify and clearly communicate the value of its commercial partnerships to sponsors across all media.

Cricket Ireland is the national governing body for the sport across the island of Ireland and a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The organisation oversees both the men’s and women’s game at performance and participation levels, with the Irish sides having competed at ICC global events including the T20 World Cup. As Cricket Ireland’s commercial programme continues to grow, the ability to demonstrate measurable partner value across digital coverage has become central to its sponsorship strategy.

Under the renewed agreement, Cricket Ireland will use three Shikenso capabilities across its sponsorship programme: Video Analysis, Social Media Analysis, and Social Media Listening, monitoring brand and event-related keyword mentions beyond owned channels. All data is consolidated in a dedicated Shikenso dashboard, giving Cricket Ireland’s commercial team clear visibility into how each sponsor brand is performing across every tracked channel. The result is full transparency into what each partnership is delivering, and the evidence to back every commercial conversation with confidence.

“Shikenso gives us the ability to track, analyse and clearly communicate sponsorship exposure and value across digital channels,” said Paul O’Sullivan, Business Development Manager at Cricket Ireland. “This allows us to deliver transparent, data-driven insights to our partners that clearly demonstrate how their rights are performing, while helping to ensure that our sponsorship programmes continue to evolve in line with audience behaviour and partner expectations. This level of understanding supports better conversations, stronger partnerships, and more informed decision-making as our commercial programme continues to grow.”

Arwin Fallah-Shirazi, Co-CEO & Co-Founder at Shikenso, said:

“Cricket has a growing commercial footprint, and national governing bodies like Cricket Ireland are under real pressure to demonstrate partner value across every channel. We have worked with Cricket Ireland since 2024, and three more years together means we can build on that foundation and keep delivering the transparency their commercial partners expect.”

As the commercial landscape for cricket continues to expand, the ability to measure and communicate partner value with precision will be a defining factor in building durable sponsorship relationships.
