Cricket Ireland unveils new ODI and Test kits for the international summer

BOLOGNA, Italy – Cricket Ireland has today unveiled the exciting new ODI and Test playing kits that the international Men’s and Women’s teams will wear until the end of 2027 – the new kit has been designed in partnership with Technical Partner, Macron.

How to purchase

  • In Ireland and the UK, fans can purchase the new playing jerseys through Cricket Ireland’s official eCommerce partner for Ireland and the UK, KB Sports Hub, both online and in-store. The kit will also be on sale at home internationals on match day.
  • Fans elsewhere in the world can buy the new kit directly from the Macron website.

About the designs

Now in its fourth year as Technical Partner of Cricket Ireland, Macron has delivered an Ireland Men’s and Women’s ODI Jersey for 2026-27 that features ancient symbols of Irish heritage – most notably the Celtic Knot – woven into a rich green shirt that embodies the spirit of Ireland. The shirt creates an enduring identity that connects our past with the present – and is set to become an iconic entrant into the annals of classic Irish cricket shirts.

Ireland Men’s Test Jersey for 2026-27 introduces a more timeless white pattern, accented with green flourishes – making a statement of Irish pride that will be seen around the world through playing on one of world cricket’s biggest stages. Designed by Macron, this officially licensed product ensures top quality and authenticity. The breathable mesh inserts guarantee a fresh and comfortable feel, making it ideal for long matches.

These two kits complement the T20I kit that was launched in early 2026 which takes inspiration from the rugged coastlines of Ireland and uses the distinctive geology of the Giant’s Causeway – a unique and iconic landmark that is formed by thousands of hexagonal basalt columns of volcanic origin.

About the material

All garments are made from Eco Fabric, 100% polyester fabrics derived from recycled plastic, delivering a strong message of sustainability and respect for the environment. Specifically, the main fabric used is Eco Gotex, a technical textile specifically developed for match kits. The presence of Eco Mesh inserts also ensures maximum lightness and optimal breathability.

The retail kit range for sale will include both short and long-sleeved jerseys, as well as the long-sleeved V-neck jumper and a sleeveless vest, all featuring the same layout and graphic both on the body and on the sleeves. A blue and yellow training wear range will also be available, comprising t‑shirts, quarter‑zip tops and hoodies, offering supporters additional off‑field apparel options.

Macron CEO, Gianluca Pavanello, said:

“Unveiling these new ODI and Test kits alongside Cricket Ireland represents another important step in a partnership that continues to grow in both ambition and international relevance. These designs reflect a careful balance between tradition and innovation, drawing on powerful elements of Irish identity while delivering the highest standards of technical performance. Sustainability remains central to our approach, with the use of Eco Fabrics reinforcing our commitment to responsible production. We are proud to support both the Men’s and Women’s national teams with products that not only meet the demands of elite cricket but also strengthen the sense of belonging and identity every time they take the field.”

Sarah Keane, CEO of Cricket Ireland, said:

“We are delighted to unveil this stunning range of international playing kit that will be worn by our senior Men’s and Women’s teams over the next two years. The designs give a real sense of Irish pride through connecting player and place, in terms of the T20 kit, or player and culture, through the Celtic knot motif on the ODI kit.

“Once more our partnership with Macron has created a striking set of playing kits for our national teams and I hope to see plenty of these jerseys on fans in the crowd throughout the summer.”
