Ireland and Scotland have been training at Bready ahead of their T20 series over the next four days.
Both sides have been taking in the scenery and making full use of the facilities at the newly accredited international venue as the North-West prepares to host its first Ireland international match in over 20 years.
Local boy David Rankin got a last minute call up to the squad after Paul Stirling withdrew because of a change in his county commitments, he joins fellow Bready man Craig Young in the squad as the pair look to represent Ireland on their home ground.
Rankin and Tyrone Kane are both in line for their first senior caps for Ireland on Thursday as the latter looks to cement a place in the team ahead of the ICC World T20 Qualifiers net month.
John Mooney was granted leave for family commitments in the build up to this week, meaning John Anderson has also been called into the squad for the three games. George Dockrell and Andrew Balbirnie will miss the first of the three matches due to county commitments, but the pair will be available for the Friday and Sunday matches.
Tickets for all three days are available from cricketireland.ie, with a three match package for just £12. Alternatively tickets will be available on the gates at Bready at each of the games. The matches on Thursday and Friday start at 1730, whilst Sunday will get underway at 1400 and tickets are priced at £5 for adults, £4 for OAPs, with free entry for all under 16’s.
