How much does Smash It cost?
Each club may set its own fee for delivering Smash It, as pricing varies based on delivery duration and timing. However, we have set a maximum charge of £120/€130.
How long does each programme last?
Programmes can vary significantly from club to club. Many clubs run their programme weekly for 6–8 weeks, while others deliver it throughout the entire summer. Each weekly session typically lasts between 30 minutes and 1 hour. Alternatively, some clubs offer the programme as a summer camp, where sessions may run for 2 hours or more each day
Can my child be new to cricket?
Smash It is for everyone aged 5-9, designed to get everyone moving, making friends, and having a blast! Packed with exciting games and activities, it’s all about learning new skills and building confidence in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
What does each child receive as part of the programme?
Every child who registers for Smash It receives a T-shirt as part of their registration. They also have the option to purchase additional equipment, including a bat and ball (£18.98/€18.98), and backpack (£21.48/€21.48) at the checkout.

When will my child's gear arrive?
We do our best to make sure participants receive their packs before their first session.
However, you should allow 10 days after registration for the gear to arrive. Your T-Shirt will be delivered to your club and handed out during the sessions.
What happens during a Smash It Session?
Each Smash It session is 45 – 60 minutes of fun, game-based activities designed to develop each child’s fundamental movement skills. There will be a warm-up, bowling, batting, and fielding activities, and plenty of time for questions, fun, and making friends!
Are parents welcome?
Parents are more than welcome to watch the sessions! How do I know my children will be safe?
Our Activators must be fully trained, Garda-vetted/Access NI-checked, and have up-to-date safeguarding certification in order to deliver sessions. All Activators complete face-to-facetraining, followed by mandatory online learning to ensure they are fully prepared for programme delivery.Parents are more than welcome to watch the sessions! It says ineligible when I try to register, what does this mean?
This may indicate that you do not meet the programme’s age requirements. Please ensure that you are not attempting to register your child using your own account. To create a child’s account linked to your profile, please follow the user guide- Creating a child’s profile in your account.
How do I register?
Registration is processed through the Sport80 platform. All active programmes can be viewed, and participants can register directly via our website- Smash it – Cricket Ireland
