He was called up to the Northern Knights that same year, then received his first international call-up for Ireland Men's tours of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in early 2023.

He was called up to the Northern Knights that same year, then received his first international call-up for Ireland Men’s tours of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in early 2023.
Tom was also included in Ireland’s 15-player squad that toured England to play a warm-up game and Test match against England at Lord’s. He made his First-class debut in the Essex v Ireland match before the Lord’s Test, claiming 4-68 and 3-55.
