ECC-W T10 squad change

A player has been withdrawn with a replacement named

DUBLIN – One change has been made for the Emerging Ireland Women’s squad who will be competing in the 2024 European Cricket Women’s Championship in Malaga, Spain for the first time.

Alice Tector who was initially selected for Emerging Ireland Women has been withdrawn by selectors and will be replaced by Ally Boucher.

Previously Alana Dalzell had been named in the squad, but a call up to the Irish senior team for the Bangladesh tour in both formats meant Julie McNally was brought in as replacement.

Over the course of five days this month, Emerging Ireland Women will play against England XI Women, Scotland XI Women, Netherlands XI Women, and Italy Women in the Premier Division with the top four teams moving to Finals Day on December 20th when the title will be decided.
