A genuine all-rounder, her stronger suit between batting and bowling changes often. Having made her debut during a tri-series in South Africa, it’s not surprising that Sophie’s proudest moment in an Ireland shirt was when she was part of the team that beat the same opposition five years later on Irish soil.

While she has a Masters in Physiotherapy, Sophie aims to play cricket professionally for as long as she can. An all-rounder who bowls nagging medium pace and hits unusual areas with the bat, she is a feisty character – you always feel like you’re in the game when Sophie has ball or bat in hand.
