Classical left-hander Leah bats in the top order in the longer format and middle order in T20s. Quick between the wickets, she sets the standard in all that she does. Never without a smile on her face, she’s the life and soul of this Irish team.

While she started her career as a left-arm quick, back injuries slowed Leah’s pace down at an early age. Her fortunes changed when she converted to left-arm spin and she won the player of the series award in a bilateral with Scotland in the summer of 2021 when she took eight wickets.

An ever-evolving cricketer, Leah is inspired by boxer Katie Taylor who comes from the same town in Ireland. Her most memorable achievement to date was playing at a World Cup and she hopes to keep contributing to her team achieving wins over the best teams in the world on the biggest stage.
