Kia is a natural athlete, adding value in the field as well as with her bowling. An off-spinner who usually comes round the wicket, she is one of a number of young spinners that are being groomed to play senior international cricket.

Hailing from the North-West, Kia is one of a new breed of female cricketers making the step up to top level cricket in Ireland.

A talented hockey player, Kia excels at most sports. She was a key player for Ireland in the inaugural U19 Women’s T20 World Cup early in 2023 and was added to the senior squad after her performances there. She continues to play for the U19 team and will hope to play her second major tournament at the U19 World Cup early in 2025.
