A canny bowling all-rounder, Arlene has a knack of prising out key wickets or staging a lower-order stand with the bat. Since her move to Ireland, Kelly has made a significant impact being awarded Women’s Player of the Year at the 2023 Irish Cricket Awards.

Arlene was also awarded the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for August 2023 after dominating the three-match T20I series against Netherlands taking 10 wickets at an incredible average of just 4.30.

Originally hailing from New Zealand where she played for Auckland Hearts, she is already Ireland Women’s 6th highest wicket-taker and looks set to establish herself in the squad’s senior leadership group for years to come.
