A versatile cricketer who can fit anywhere into the batting line-up. Andy’s primary skill is off-spin and he rushes through his overs like no other.

An unflappable character, Andy (known as “Scra”) has batted in almost every position for Ireland, including an impressive series at number 3 against West Indies away from home in early 2022.

He is recognised as a specialist in bowling the middle overs in ODI cricket where his subtle changes in pace and flight make him one of the best in the off-spin game.

Willing to contribute in any way he is asked, Andy has been an ODI mainstay for Ireland for the last few years and has played in almost every one of Ireland Men’s Test matches.
