Beneath Amy’s relatively quiet demeanour lies a competitive and attacking player who has already made a splash on the international scene. Best known for being the youngest player to score an international century when she made 121* against Zimbabwe in 2021, she oozes class and has the ability to get Ireland off to a flying start.

At just 16 years old, Amy’s name was beamed around the world when she became the youngest international centurion – man or woman. No matter what she does from here, and signs are that the best is yet to come, the youngster from Belfast will go down in history.

She also captained Ireland at the inaugural ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup, although she missed most of that tournament through injury.

Since the retirement of Mary Waldron in 2023, Amy has assumed the role of first-choice wicketkeeper for the senior side.
