Ireland wicket-keeper batsman Gary Wilson has signed a new two year deal with Surrey, that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2017 season.
Wilson, 29, enjoyed another successful season for Surrey, contributing well both behind the stumps and with the bat as Surrey won promotion back to Division One of the County Championship and made it to the final of the Royal London One Day Cup.

His new deal is the latest to be announced – and follows new contracts recently signed by Jason Roy, Tom and Sam Curran, Ben Foakes, James Burke, Zafar Ansari, Rory Burns and Matthew Dunn.

Speaking after signing his deal, Gary Wilson, said: “I’m very happy to commit to another two years at Surrey. It’s the only county I’ve ever played for and one I am very proud to be a part of. After a successful summer in 2015, I’m looking forward to playing my part in the development of what is a very exciting young squad.”

Surrey CCC Director of Cricket Alec Stewart added: “Gary is an important member of our squad and I’m very glad that he has committed his future to Surrey.”
