Cricket Ireland is seeking a National Selector from the Northern (NCU) region, who will also sit on the Northern Knights Selection panel and help ensure Ireland selects its best players ready to take to the world stage and ensure the Northern Knights are competitive within the Hanley Energy Inter-Provincial Series.
The successful candidate will report into the CI Chairman of Selectors. Due to the staggering of terms of office this position will initially be a two-year term. If re-selected, the candidate may serve for a further two terms of two years.
The position is a voluntary position, and will require the candidate to attend a minimum of eight national meetings annually, which will usually take place in Dundalk, at a representative match convenient to the other Selectors, or via phone or Skype. There will be a number of Northern Knights selection meetings on top of this.
