The third match of the Ireland Wolves v Bangladesh A series was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to a wet outfield but rescheduled for Sunday October 22nd.
Ireland Wolves’ match against Bangladesh was abandoned without a ball being bowled on Saturday in Cox’s Bazar after heavy rain yesterday and overnight left the outfield too wet.

However after a meeting between both sets of team managers & coaches, the match referee and umpires it was agreed to reschedule the match for Sunday October 22nd, with Monday also available as a further reserve day.
A Cricket Ireland spokesperson said: “There has been a lot of rain around with torrential downpours yesterday, and even though almost all the ground was covered, unfortunately the outfield is still too wet for any play today.

“The team management on both sides agreed we would use training days as reserve days for the remaining games, and we’d like to place on record our thanks to the Bangladesh Cricket Board for facilitating this.”

The revised schedule for the series is as follows;
All matches start at 9am local time (4am Irish time)

3rd One-Day Match (21 Oct): Reserve Day 22nd Oct & 23rd Oct (If required)
4th One-Day Match (24 Oct): Reserve Day 25th Oct
5th One-Day Match (26 Oct): NO Reserve Day

Ireland Wolves trail one nil in the series after Bangladesh A won the second game in the five-match series on Thursday by 3 wickets after the first match was abandoned.
