South Africa A have chosen strong squads for their month long tour of Ireland this August. Several experienced international cricketers have been included in their ranks for the multi-formatted tour including the likes of Colin Ingram, Ryan McLaren, Johan Botha, Richard Levi and Roelof van der Merwe.
The multi-formatted tour begins with four day matches at Oak Hill in Co.Wicklow from August 6th-9th, before playing a second four day match at Coleraine from August 13th-16th.These games have been confirmed as having first-class status.

There are then three 50 over (ODI format) matches, the first being played on August 19th at Strabane, before two fixtures at Stormont on August 21st & 23rd

Four important Twenty20 matches will then give Ireland final preparation before departing for the ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka this September, the first two being at Oak Hill on August 27 and 29, before moving to Malahide for the final two games on Friday August 31th & Sunday September 2nd – which will be the first international matches at the revamped Malahide Cricket Club.

All matches are against Ireland and further details regarding these fixtures will be announced soon.
