Another great season of the Arachas Super Series 2021 was run and won, with stand-out both individual performances underlining the growing importance of the competition to the players and to the development of the national side. Here is a brief highlights package of the season we had.
Arachas Super 50 Cup
The peak domestic 50-over Cup competition was an intensely competitive series, with a dominant display by Irish international Gaby Lewis with the bat. The quality of matches in the longer white-ball format certainly contributed to the national side’s subsequent ODIs during 2021.
In the end, the Scorchers won back the 50-over title 4-1 over the Typhoons.

Arachas Super 20 Trophy
The peak domestic T20 Trophy competition finished with a similar scoreline as the Cup – Scorchers beat the Typhoons 4-1.
The most dramatic match of the competition being the fourth match of the series that went to a Super Over.
