The provisional North West Warriors Inter-Provincial squad has been selected ahead of the RSA Inter-provincial Series.
Coach Bobby Rao has a 17 man panel from the North West at his disposal for this summer’s RSA Inter-provincial series. The squad is a good blend of youth and experience with recent Ireland Under 19 players Andrew McBrine and Ryan Hunter mixing in with the likes of Niall McDonnell and Iftikhar Hussain.

The 2012 Club Player of the Year at the RSA Cricket Ireland Awards, Johnny Thompson will look to build on a fantastic 2012 and no doubt play a strong role for the North West Warriors.

The North West Warriors will have to wait until the second match of the 2013 tournament when they travel to College Park in Dublin to take on the Leinster Lightning.

The 17-man squad in full is as follows:
David Barr (Bready), Andrew Britton (Brigade), Scott Campbell (Coleraine), Peter Connell (Strabane), Ricky-Lee Dougherty (Donemana), Ryan Hunter (Brigade), Iftikhar Hussain (Fox Lodge), Andrew McBrine (Donemana), Graeme McCarter (Fox Lodge/Gloucestershire), Niall McDonnell (Coleraine), Gareth McKeegan (Brigade), Chris Pierce (Eglinton), David Rankin (Bready), Andrew Riddles (Ardmore), Johnny Thompson (Brigade), Stuart Thompson (Eglinton), Craig Young (Bready/Sussex).
