Professionals Ernest Kemm and Tabish Khan have been called into the Warriors squad for the three day Newstalk Inter-Provincial Championship clash with Leinster Lightning at Bready next week.

The Warriors selectors have opted for South African left-arm spinner and top order batsman Kemm to help fill the void left by injury to Bready club-mate David Rankin.

Opener Rankin suffered a broken thumb while fielding for the Warriors in their defeat at The Hills earlier this month.

Pakistan pace bowler Tabish Khan, who plays for Fox Lodge, is also included, meaning the Warriors have plenty of seam options, with Craig Young, Andrew Riddles plus Johnny and Stuart Thompson.

Kemm and teenager Rishi Chopra will support skipper Andrew McBrine in the spinning department, with Milligan’s leg-spin offering another alternative.

Brian Allen misses the match due to work commitments, while former skipper Iftikhar Hussain is rested.

The game at Bready starts at 11am on Tuesday and admission is free.

North West Warriors:
Andrew McBrine (Captain) (Donemana), David Barr (Bready), Rishi Chopra (Coleraine), Ricky-Lee Dougherty (Donemana), Ernest Kemm (Bready), Tabish Khan (Fox Lodge), Niall McDonnell (Coleraine), Jason Milligan (Fox Lodge), Andrew Riddles (Ardmore), Johnny Thompson (Brigade), Stuart Thompson (Eglinton), Craig Young (Bready)
