A specialist spin camp as part of the Cricket Ireland National Academy will take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka from the 27th September to 5th October 2014.
The aim of the spin camp is to further develop the players who may be part of Ireland’s next U-19 World Cup campaign, with an additional focus on batting in sub-continent conditions, especially against spin bowling, and to develop the skills of the current spin bowlers in this age group.

The group will look to use the opportunity to embrace every opportunity to live and breathe Sri Lanka’s culture and climate and to share this experience with the local people, each other and their peers in Ireland.

The following National Academy squad members have been selected to attend the camp: Adam Dennison (NCU, Waringstown), Colin Currie (LCU, Clontarf), Fiachra Tucker (LCU, Pembroke), Lorcan Tucker (LCU Pembroke), Gary McClintock (NWCU, Donemana), Ben White (LCU, Phoenix), Sonny Cott (LCU, Pembroke), Jack Tector (LCU, YMCA)
