Ireland A watched the rain today in what was due to be the first day of their three-day match against Kent.
The team played a match against MCC in Stormont earlier this month which was also affected by rain. James Shannon will skipper the side again after making the step up to International level against Pakistan on Sunday. Merrion’s Tyrone Kane has been picked to play the match after impressing for the Under-19s.
