Leinster Lightning have named their match-day squad for the 50-over challenge game against Denmark starting at 12.30 in The Hills Cricket Club on Sunday 24th April 2016.
It has been agreed with the Denmark Team Management that all 13 players in the squad will be able to take part in the game. The selectors feel that they’ve picked a strong team for this game, the aim being to give everyone some game time ahead of a very busy May which sees the Lightning play six Inter-provincial games across all three formats.

John Anderson will make his first appearance as the new captain of the Lightning following the retirement of John Mooney in what will be their first outing of the 2016 season. Denmark, who are coached by former Ireland international Jeremy Bray, will be play three games over the weekend, with fixtures against the Northern Knights at Balbriggan on Friday and a Hills Select XI on Saturday before facing the Lightning on Sunday.

Leinster Lightning would like to extend their thanks to The Hills for hosting the Danish side over the weekend.
