Jack Tector will return home to Dublin immediately after sustaining a knee injury while playing club cricket in South Africa.
Tector, 22, recently travelled to spend two months training with former Irish Coach Adi Birrell and playing for Old Grey Cricket Club, as part of the Ed Joyce Scholarship Programme.

The extent of his injury will be assessed on return to Dublin by Mark Rausa, Head of Physiotherapy and Medical Services at Cricket Ireland.
