Holders Waringstown face five times winners North County in the quarter-finals of the Irish Senior Cup in the draw made today at Malahide ahead of the KPC Group ODI Series between Ireland and Sri Lanka.
Last season’s beaten finalists Merrion have home advantage over Derriaghy, while CIYMS take on YMCA at Belmont.

The final tie features Instonians who entertain Phoenix at Shaw’s Bridge.

The draw for the last eight of the Irish National Cup was also made, and tie of the round is undoubtedly the clash of holders Rush against near neighbours Balbriggan.

Northern sides face long journeys in the remaining clashes, with Newbuildings away to Kerry, Ballyspallen on the road to Laois, and Woodvale travelling to Limerick.

All games in both competitions will be played on Sunday July 10.
