St. Patrick’s Day holds great memories for all Irish cricket fans with the successes of the modern era of Irish cricket in many ways beginning back on St. Patrick’s Day in 2007 with that famous win over Pakistan in Sabina Park at the Cricket World Cup.
St Patrick’s Day 2014 is nearly upon us and it again brings a crucial match for Ireland’s cricketers at a World Cup. This time, the ICC World Twenty20 in Bangladesh as Ireland face off against Zimbabwe in their Group B clash. So if you’re in Dublin and want to get behind the Boys in Green, the Castleknock Hotel & Country Club will be the place to be.

As proud official suppliers to Cricket Ireland, Castleknock Hotel & Country Club are inviting all Irish cricket fans to join together to support the boys in green on Monday, 17th March, St Patricks Day in their opening T20 World Cup match against Zimbabwe from the early time of 9.30am.

We will have the match on our big screen in the hotel bar with our tasty deluxe bacon sandwiches with juice and tea/coffee available as a special offer to our cricket fans for just €9.50 throughout the morning.

There will also be a range of other promotions and a prizes given out during the day, including the chance to win a signed Ireland v England cricket bat as well as live entertainment to follow later in the day. So spread the word and support the team at Castleknock Hotel & Country Club.
