Northern Knights and Leinster Lightning teams are announced
The first match of the RSA Inter-Provincial One Day Cup is just days away and Northern Knights coach Eugene Moleon and Leinster Lightning coach Trent Johnston released their teams today.
Both teams are filled with current, former and future stars of Irish cricket. Ireland veteran Andrew White captains the Knights and he has the experience of recently retired International Nigel Jones to call on. His team has a youthful look to it with exciting players like James Shannon, Peter Eakin, Gary Kidd and Lee Nelson all looking to impress.

Johnston, who is named in the Lightning team himself, has sometime Ireland captain Kevin O’Brien leading his side and he will have plenty of quality to call on come Monday. With current internationals Alex Cusack, Max Sorensen and, of course, Trent Johnston, Leinster have the slightly more experienced look.

The match begins at 10.45am on Monday May 6th in The Hills and admission is free.
