At The Lawn, Waringstown reached 204-5 in 31 overs against Domemana in a reduced game with Lee Nelson top-scoring with 57* and Greg Thompson also reaching the half-century mark with 51. In reply Donemana could only get to 17-1 before heavy rain arrived meaning a bowl-out was necessary to decide the winner.
Waringstown emeged victorious by 2 hits to 0.
They’ll meet Bready in the final after they saw off CIYMS in sudden death in their bowl-out after no play was possible at Maghermason – captain Davy Scanlon with the winning hit to send his side to the August 10th show-piece.
