The Ireland Women’s side for their ECB County Championship clash with Worcestershire on Sunday has been named.
Ireland travel to Stourbridge on the back of a dominant 6 wicket win over Wales a fortnight ago, where a Cecilia Joyce half century and a devastating three wicket opening spell from in-form opening bowler Louise McCarthy guided Ireland to victory.

Mary Waldron again captain’s the side for this weekend’s fixture, which sees one change to the team that defeated Wales with YMCA’s 13 year-old Gaby Lewis making her first appearance in a senior Ireland squad following a series of good performances for the Claremont Road side.

Ireland currently sit in 5th position in the ECB County Championship Division Two on 55 points, while Worcestershire lie in 2nd last place on 33 points having played one game more.

Ireland:
Mary Waldron (Capt – Malahide)
Laura Delany (Leinster)
Fiona Gill (Malahide)
Cecelia Joyce (Merrion)
Shauna Kavanagh (Pembroke)
Gaby Lewis (YMCA)
Louise McCarthy (Pembroke)
Kate McKenna (Merrion)
Lucy O’Reilly (YMCA)
Una Raymond Hoey (Clontarf)
Rebecca Rolfe (Leinster)
Elena Tice (Merrion)
