Four Irish players have travelled to Portugal this weekend playing in the T10 Weston Shield.

Four Irish players have travelled to Portugal this weekend as part of the British & Irish Knights playing against Team Europe in the T10 Weston Shield.

The Weston Shield, an initiative of the European Cricket Network, promises to be an exhilarating cricketing extravaganza, showcasing some of th best talents from Europe.

Taking place at the picturesque Santarem Cricket Ground in Portugal on April 6th and 7th, the Weston Shield will feature invitational teams Team Europe and British & Irish Knights battling it out in a best-of-nine tournament format.

The final squads for both teams have been selected:

The matches

The matches will start at:

  • Saturday: 9.30am, 11.30am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm
  • Sunday: 9.30am, 11.45am, 2pm, 4pm
