Welcome to the All-ireland club cups
Cricket Ireland oversees three all-Ireland club cup competitions every year – with more than 50% of all the clubs in Ireland involved in at least one of these premier competitions.
These competitions build relationships across the sport, provide quality cricket experiences, facilitate revenue-raising opportunities for clubs, help grow the profile of the sport across Ireland.
The Cup competitions
Irish Senior Cup
Started: 1982
The Irish Senior Cup is the premier All-Ireland Club cricket competition, featuring the leading club sides from across the four main Provincial Unions. The competition started in 1982 and features 28 teams playing in a 50-over knock-out format.
National Cup
Started 2012
The National Cup is a 40-over all-Ireland club cup competition involving the next tier of clubs not in the Irish Senior Cup. It started in 2012 and features 32 clubs.
All-Ireland T20 Cup
Started 2017
The All-Ireland T20 Cup is the peak club cup competition in Ireland – bringing together the best T20 teams in club cricket across the provinces.
The (men’s) Cup began in 2017, and features the winner of each Provincial Unions’ T20 club competition playing off for the annual title.
The (women’s) Cup began in 2021, and features a preliminary final between the winner of the NCU’s and NWCU’s T20 club competition to play in the final against the winner of Leinster’s T20 club competition.

17 Aug 2025 – National Cup Final (Reserve Day: 24 August)
31 Aug 2025 – Men’s & Women’s All-Ireland T20 Finals Day (Reserve Day: 7 September)
