A fiery customer who hits the pitch hard, Georgina has all the attributes of a proper fast bowler. Known for her bowling ability, Dempsey is improving the batting side of her game all the time, and she’s a real livewire in the field. Showed what she can do when she took four wickets in an ODI against Australia in Clontarf in 2023, Dempsey has suffered with injury in recent times which has halted her progression.

A competitive cricketer, Georgina looks to make an impact, no matter what the stage or situation of the game. Yet to fully settle into the senior side, she has been marked for higher honours for a long time; her ability to bowl with real pace clear to see from a young age.

She debuted in a T20 series in Belfast in 2021 and is one of the new crop of cricketers coming through under the tutelage of Ed Joyce.
