Side to play North West in Bready this Sunday is named
Following Sunday’s match between Leinster U17 & Munster U17. The selectors met and selected the Southern Under 17 squad to play North West at Bready CC on Sunday, May 13th (12pm start) is as follows:

• Ruairí Willis (Pembroke)

James Smith (pictured above with Brían O’Rourke & Adam Craig in La Manga, Spain last year) starred vs Munster by taking the remarkable figures of 5 for 3 and will again feature in an exciting pace attack where he will team up with Old Belvedere’s Sharukh Shamin & Phoenix’s Thomas Anders.

The side will be captained by Pembroke’s Darren Nicol and features 3 promising Munster players including wicket-keeper batsman Rory O’Keeffe. There is one more game for the Southern Under 17’s the following week against the NCU again with a 12pm start on Sunday May the 20th.
