The origin of the name comes from a gift we received from a visitor named David who travelled half-way around the world from Australia to witness the first men’s Test match at Malahide in 2018. Before he left home he had a hand-crafted green cricket ball made to mark the occasion that he presented to Cricket Ireland at the ground.
Born out of lockdown during the pandemic, The Green Ball Show originally started as a video interview show. Here’s one of our favourite episodes:
