Leinster Lightning squad for their IPC clash with the NW Warriors at Oak Hill announced ahead of tomorrow’s first day of play.
The Lightning selectors have made two enforced changes to the squad which drew their debut first-class match in early June..
Neither Kevin O’Brien nor Tyrone Kane have been passed fit, having battled injury the past few weeks. Therefore there’s a return from exams for George Dockrell and a Championship debut for North County’s young fast bowler Andrew Sheridan.

It has been a busy but successful June to date for the Lightning. They have played four matches already this month, winning both T-20’s, drawing a 3-Day Championship match with the Northern Knights and having a 50-over clash with the Knights rained off, not before an Ed Joyce century however.

Hanley Energy Inter-Provincial Championship June 20th to 22nd, Oak Hill, 11am each day, free entry:

Leinster Lightning:
John Anderson (c) (Merrion)
Andrew Balbirnie (Pembroke)
Peter Chase (Malahide)
Gareth Delany (Leinster)
George Dockrell (Dublin University / Leinster)
Ed Joyce (Merrion)
Max Neville (Merrion)
Eddie Richardson (North County)
Andrew Sheridan (North County)
Simi Singh (YMCA)
Jack Tector (YMCA)
Lorcan Tucker (w/k) (Pembroke)
