Ireland Qualify for World Cup with Thailand win

President of Cricket Ireland, Dr. Murry Power, has today expressed condolences to the family, friends, team mates and all in Cricket Namibia on the passing of Namibian player Raymond van Schoor yesterday.
Dr Power said: “It is with great sadness that I learnt of the untimely passing of young Namibian batsman Raymond van Schoor yesterday.
“Raymond was a fine cricketer, and was a key member of the Namibian team which played here in Ireland at the ICC World T20 Qualifier earlier this year, and in the InterContinental Cup match in Windhoek just last month.
“On behalf of the entire Irish cricket community I would like to extend our condolences to Raymond’s family, friends, team mates and all at Cricket Namibia. May he rest in peace.”
