A new indoor cricket league will be running in the North-West over the winter months, with interested teams invited to register before the end of September.
The competition will be ran at regionally based locations to reduce the travel time and needs of teams that register, and is open to all different groups, be they cricket teams, community groups or just a group of friends.

Both male, female and mixed teams are welcome to enter, and the games will take place on either Friday evenings or Sunday afternoons, with each game lasting 60 minutes, with 12 overs per side.

The balls used are softer than regular cricket balls and do not require full protective equipment, removing barriers to entry, and is designed to give both current players an opportunity to keep playing over the winter, while giving those new to the game a taste of what cricket is like.

To register, or to find out more information please contact Brian Allen via email, on brian.allen@cricketireland.ie
