Ireland Qualify for World Cup with Thailand win

Stephen Bunting took 4 for 4 as Instonians beat Eglinton by 8 wickets to reach final of O’Neills Ulster Cup.
The seamer removed the Eglinton ‘Big Three’ of Craig Averill, Oraine Williams and Stuart Thompson to leave the home side floundering.
Richard Wylie struck 7 fours and a six in an entertaining 49, but a final total of 114 all-out was never likely to threaten a powerful Instonians batting line-up and so it proved.
Jordan McClurkin (22) and Nicolai Smith (14) were the only wickets to fall as Inst strolled to an eight wicket victory with 16.3 overs to spare.
Professional Farhad Iqbal hit 6 fours and a six in his unbeaten 42, while James Shannon found the boundary ropes four times in a stylish unbeaten 29.
Instonians now meet fellow NCU side North Down at Comber in the final next Sunday.
