After four games in the 50-over County Championship, Ireland Women will begin their ECB T20 Division 1 campaign with a double header against Berkshire and Kent next weekend.
Clare Shillington, Lucy O’Reilly, Robyn Lewis and Louise McCarthy return to the squad after being unavailable for the last round of Championship matches, with Gaby Lewis, Anna Kerrison, Jenny Gray and Amy Kenealy all missing out in the 20-over format.
The squad was selected after the recent Super 3’s T20 weekend, which saw all three teams play each other twice as part of the competition, although the Typhoons’ fixtures were hit by the weather. The side will play two matches at Finchampstead CC, with the game against Berkshire starting at 10.00, and the second game, against Kent, starting at 13.30.
