The Ireland squad touched down safely in Sydney on Saturday, where the boys have been acclimatising ahead of their week-long training camp at Coogee Oval.
Prior to departure, the Boys in Green were given a great send-off on Thursday evening, where coach Phill Simmons and President of Cricket Ireland Joe Doherty presented each of the players with their World Cup shirt and Cricket Ireland pin. You can see the full gallery from the departure dinner here.

It was an early start on Friday morning, with a 9am flight to catch, and the squad headed off in their new Tourism Ireland branded gear but not before they posed for a few photographs. Check out the Ireland Squad Departure pics here.

The squad landed in Sydney on Saturday and a walk along Coogee Beach helped the squad get rid of the after-effects of the long-haul flight, with the weather certainly a lot warmer than what is currently being experienced back home in Ireland at the moment!

An early pool session was followed by a walk from Coogee Beach to Bronte Beach along the picturesque Sydney coast line on Sunday:

Today the players went on a guided tour of the famous SCG, the venue for one of the quarter and semi-finals.

Check out the tweets from some of the squad below:

And to finishing the day off, a spinning session to get the boys prepped for a week long training camp which gets underway at the Coogee Oval tomorrow. The week will culminate in a 50-over encounter with Randwick Petersham CC which will feature former Australia Test batsman Simon Katich. See all info about that game here and the Randwick Community Cricket Week here.
