Ireland’s scheduled game against New Zealand has been abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Persistent rain in Hamilton left umpires Tim Parlane and Derek Walker with no option but to call the game off at 3:15pm local time.
Ireland now move on to Christchurch, where they will play Canterbury on Tuesday, before their tour concludes against Otago on Thursday.
