The Leinster Lightning have made two changes to their side for the opening match of the 2014 Newstalk Inter-Provincial Championship against North West Warriors at Bready.
The Lightning selectors have named Clontarf’s Bill Coghlan & YMCA’s Simmi Singh in their side to face Bobby Rao’s Warriors at Bready CC in the opening game of the Newstalk Inter-Provincial Championship.
The pair come in for Andrew Balbirnie, centurion from the meeting of the two sides in the IP50, and slow left-arm bowler George Dockrell who are both on county duty with Middlesex and Somerset respectively.
The three-day match gets underway at Bready on Tuesday, May 20th, with play beginning each day at 11am – admission is free.
In other news the Lightning selectors have added YMCA & Ireland u-19 bowler Bobby Gamble to the Leinster Lightning training squad.
