Ireland Men make it 2-from-2 against Italy; Tector hits remarkable 96*


The Leinster Lightning selectors have announced their match day squad for the opening game 2014 Newstalk Interprovincial Series against North West Warriors on Saturday May 3rd at The Hills Cricket Club in Skerries.
With many fine individual performances over the opening weekend of the Leinster League, the Lightning selectors were presented with a difficult task and have a named a strong line-up, which includes Somerset’s George Dockrell and Middlesex’s Andrew Balbirnie.
John Mooney takes over the captaincy of the Lightning for the 2014 season, as the home side look to avenge the defeat by the Warriors in the final game of the 2013 season which denied Trent Johnston’s charges the Inter-Provincial treble.
