Cricket Ireland has expressed its sadness following the death of former Ireland international Louis Jacobsen on Friday.
Louis Jacobson died in Dublin on Friday, aged 95.
He won 12 caps for Ireland and played with Clontarf, Dublin University and Carlisle in the Leinster Leagues.
He scored 358 runs for Ireland at an average on 18.84 and played four first-class matches for Ireland including a memorable 101 not out against Scotland at Perth back in 1950.
His funeral was held today, Sunday, in Dolphin’s Barn.
