Laws of Cricket
Get an insight into a number of the most common laws of the sport.

Cricket has laws, not rules
Depending on what source you use, cricket has been played in some form possibly since the 16th, 17th or 18th century. Whatever the truth, the fact the rules governing the sport are known as ‘Laws’ indicates that the sport has probably been around a while.
When you first get into cricket, these laws may be a bit confusing at times. So to help make some of the more commonly-known laws more accessible, our friends at the MCC created a series of short videos (and gave us permission to share them).
