The horrendous summer affecting Ireland and the United Kingdom struck again as the first of two Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Championship matches between Scotland and Canada was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
This meant the points were shared, 1 point each and play is looking unlikely for the second ODI match as well with no play started on the scheduled day and the only chance of play looking likely for Thursday’s reserve day.
